Meet Our Design Teams

The Toolshed Kit Designers

Carrie Williams

Hi there! I’m Carrie. I’m a wife to my high-school sweetheart and proud (understatement!) mama to a toddler named Isaiah Mathias, who we call Zae. We live among the hills along the Mississippi River in Minnesota. I inherited my dad’s love of photography, which fits perfectly with my scrapbooking addiction! I started scrapping in 2011, and after Zae was born my hobby became a passion. I want to capture all these precious moments as they fly past at warp speed! Like the rest of my life, I am a jack of all trades (master of none), and have no single style. I tend to gravitate toward girly, romantic elements and flowers…but now that Zae is getting a little older I’m trying to branch out and scrap a little more masculine (keyword being try). He still usually ends up with flowers around him. Whattayado? I’m thrilled to be joining the International Scrapbook Garden Design Team, and look forward to [hopefully] inspiring you! You can see more on my blog:

Lanette Erickson

My name is Lanette Erickson I live in southeastern Michigan with my husband, two sassy daughters and one crazy dobie. I’m an ex-banker turned stay at home mommy and one crazy crafter!  I have always been a crafty person, but my love of scrapbooking began a little over 13 years ago. Over the years my passion has evolved from pure paper to more of a mixed media affair.  I truly love all mediums and I am happiest when my hands are messy, I love to experiment with new products and try new techniques.

I am super excited to be part of the International Scrapbook Garden! I hope that my art will help inspire you to get your hands messy and create something you love!

Vivian Lake

Hi! I'm Vivian. I'm been scrapbooking since 1998 and have dabbled into several techniques over the years. My two favorite techniques are to use die cuts (large and small) and my sewing machine. My style has been named "clean and simple" with lots of negative space, although it never seems simple when I'm making my pages!! LOL. My second favorite technique is paper piecing, which I mostly use on my cards. I'm excited to be here and hope to bring you inspiration as we all explore this wonderful new company.

Kimberly Heard

My name is Kimberly (Droopidog) Heard. I’ve been married for 23 yrs and we have no children. Since it’s just the 2 of us we travel as often as we like. We both have just recently retired, so we will be continuing our travels even more now.

Most of my scrappy subjects involve the many adventures of the Mr and I. Boy does he provide me with plenty of fun and funny scrappy photos. Have to love a man who doesn't mind my scrappy addiction. I have started to include a few more stock photos to satisfy my mixed media artistic side.

I started scrapping in 2001, after my mom died. I had all these copies of photos and didn’t know what to do with them. I had a friend that was into scrapbooking so I called her. Once I did my first page, I was hooked.

Like any good scrapper, I am never without my camera and am always looking for an opportunity to take scrap worthy pictures.

Lisa Griffith

Hello! My name is Lisa Griffith and I live in Georgia, USA. I’m happily married to my best friend, and we have one son, Liam, whose sweet little face appears in many of my pages. I’ve been scrapping ever since my boy was born, but over the last few years of discovering mixed media, my hobby has grown into my passion, and I spend a lot of time daydreaming about colors, textures and my next layout. I have a small studio at home and I love to do my ‘scrap-art’ as a way to wind down, relax, and lose myself in something creative.

I really admire so many styles, but the one I come back to the most is a little bit vintage, very nature-inspired with lots of leaves and flowers, and always leaning to the messy and chaotic side of things. I love splashing watercolors, inks and sprays on my background, and  always try to include some flea market finds on my pages such as old lace, wool, fabric, pine cones, twigs, twine, beads, or vintage buttons…. anything to give my project a little unique twist.

I’m excited to join this wonderful team and I hope my art will inspire you to get messy too!

Laurie Leahey

My name is Laurie Leahey and I'm a Midwest transplant on the East Coast. By day, I review toys on, but by night (and every other hour I'm not at work), I'm a blogger and scrapbooker. My blog, Cook Scrap Craft, is where I share my scrapbook pages plus other crafts and gluten-free food adventures thanks to my Celiac husband. I am also a first-time mom to an 18-month-old daughter, so I have lots of pictures to scrap! Perfect for the International Scrapbook Garden Garden Kits!

Sandi Clarkson

Hello, everyone! My name is Sandi Clarkson and I'm excited to be a Design Team member here at The International Scrapbook Garden. My husband and I live in north central Texas, USA and have 3 grown daughters, all married and blessing us with lots of grandkids.

In 2006 my sister-in-law introduced me to scrapbooking and it’s been a whirlwind of fun and creativity ever since! Crafting of any sort has intrigued me since I was young, so scrapbooking and mixed media work have become a natural extension of my need to express my ‘inner artist.” An audiologist by profession, it’s nice to have a right-brain sort of hobby.

My “style” varies but most would call it romantic, shabby chic … usually with some sort of mixed media. At other times, I scrap a little cleaner but almost always, I go for “pretty.” I love lots of layers and am obsessed with mixing texture! The occasional girly grunge also shows up on my art table and I love when that happens.

Hopefully my work will inspire you and give you some creative ideas about how to use your ISBG kits!

Annie Carignan

My name is Annie, I am from Quebec Canada and I have a loving husband and 2 beautiful children who inspire me everyday.  Scrapbooking has been my passion for almost 12 years.  I love to express Love and Softness in my work.  I use many styles depending on the color, the product or just how I am feeling, but you will always see flowers that’s for sure !!!

I am thrilled to be part of this Team with all the other talented ladies and I hope to inspire each and everyone of you !   :-)

Victoria Warren-Mears

Allow me to introduce myself, my name is Victoria Warren-Mears and I'm thrilled to be a designer for the International Scrapbook Garden.  I’ve been crafting since I was a very young girl, when my mom taught me sewing and my grandmother taught me knitting and crocheting.  I have been doing paper crafts for about 15 years and love them all.  I love getting messy when I craft, so I love paint and dimensional media.  I am married to my husband, Jim and have a 17 year old son.  I work full time for a non-profit health organization directing research and use my crafting hobbies to reduce stress and add to relaxation.  In addition to crafting I am an avid volunteer and walker.  I am looking forward to working with all of the design team members and hope I can offer you some inspiration.
