Let the Adventure Begin

Hey everyone, I'm back today to share another layout created using this months Toolshed kit: Winter Adventures from The International Scrapbook Garden. This kit is filled with the Denim and Friends paper line from Maja Designs. It's great for masculine or winter pages,
but I decided to make a feminine layout with it.

Here is my layout:

This kit is filled with a lot of fun embellishments. The mixed media kit compliments everything so well. I used items from the main kit as well as the bonus embellishment and mixed media kits. I pulled in a few things from my stash to make it a bit more girly.

Here are some close up:

I used the Lindy's spray from the mixed media kit  for the background. I also used a stencil and some modeling paste both from my stash. Then I did a bit of stamping with the brown ink from the main kit.

There are fun chipboard pieces in the main kit as well as the chipboard bonus kit. The chipboard hearts were perfect for girly layout. To color I used some aged marine embossing powder from my stash.

The flowers are from the bonus embellishment kit. I dug that cute little butterfly from my stash. It's so old, but it came in handy.

Showing more of the fun chipboard. This is that title frame from the main kit. I just cut the words out. Then I used the aged teal and marine embossing powder on it. The little swirl chipboard pieces are from  my stash. It's actually 1 piece that I cut into several little pieces. That's a great way to get the most out of your embellishments.

Here are the kits I used for this layout:

That's all I have for today, thanks for stopping by. Oh and Happy Mardi Gras!!!

Maja Gift Tags

Hi all! I wanted share these cute little gift tags I made up with some of the scraps of Maja's Denim and Friends paper collection from my  International Scrapbook Garden kit.

I'm not the best about using my scraps. I keep them {because I have hoarding tendencies when it comes to anything scrapbook related}, I just don't use them. But enter the Cricut and every single scrap I own now has endless possibilities {score hoarding!}.

I've already done several projects with the Winter Adventures kit {you can see them herehere, and here!}, so I've already proclaimed my love for these papers, several times. {and probably again after that}

You can find the papers here, or find main kit here.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a great week!

Today I will show you a nice handbag I made with the Kisses and Snowflakes paper kit.
I used 13 Arts Travel and 13 Arts Creative.

I used Tags from 13 Arts Freedom.
There are so many different possibilities in this paper kit.  I just love it!

There's plenty of space in this handbag so you can
fill it up with lots of candy or anything you want.
It will soon be Valentine's day so it would make a nice gift.

There are pearls is in this kit too from Dovecraft.
They coordinated perfectly with the bag.

The link to the tutorial I made it from can be found here.
Good luck!

This was all for me today.
Hope to see you next time.
