Prima Zella Teal

A Pretty Greeting Card with Sandi

Hey, hey!

It's Sandi here today with a DT project using the Kisses and Snowflakes January Kit from The International Scrapbook Garden Kit.

This is actually a little something that I created for my hubby for Valentines Day ... he's gotten kind of used to receiving flowers on his cards, lol.  Seriously, he has!

I'm still experimenting with where to take photos here at my new house. It's a bit of a learning curve until I find the exact right spot. Bear with me.

I turned to the BoBunny papers located in the Bonus paper add-on and used Frosty and Nippy from Winter Playground collection. The cute solid teal banner on the left side is from the BoBunny sticker set.

I had fun embossing the large "Love" chipboard from Creative Embellishments and used some powders I had on hand. I love creating multi-colored chipboard pieces.  It was grounded on a paper doily and clustered with flowers and ephemera as well as pearls.

The Petaloo blooms co-ordinate so perfectly. The Zella Teal ephemera from Prima was also an amazing match!

Hope you can see the banner tucked in there!

Another ephemera banner from Prima. And lastly, I dabbed everything with some white acrylic paint .. a little bolder than just gesso.

Supplies used:
BoBunny Winter Playground Frosty
BoBunny Winter Playground Nippy
KaiserCraft Clear Stamp PS I Love You
KaiserCraft Teal Pearls
Prima Color Philosophy Poison Love
Aleene's Glitter Snow
Prima Flowers #597153
Petaloo Mixed Blooms
Prima Attic Dust and Blossom Bud Chalk Edger
Prima Zella Teal Ephemera

That's it for today.
Thanks for coming by!

I Met Sam

Happy St. Patrick's Day from Laurie! I have never met any leprechauns, but I have met a hobbit (Sean Astin, aka Sam from The Lord of the Rings). That's the theme of today's scrapbook layout featuring the Kisses and Snowflakes kit.

I liked how the pink background in the photo matched so well with some of the pink in the 7 Dots Northern Lights collection, so that's primarily the papers and embellishments that I used on this.

But I did add in some of the Prima Zella Teal ephemeraScrapberry's Exquisite Embellishments Create WonderPrima Sunrise Sunset Paper Petals Silver Blue flowersUS Art Quest Prills in Plum Crazy, and Dovecraft Adhesive Gems Perfectly Pink. Then I splattered a little bit of the Shimmerz Vibez Grape Escape. I LOVE that color.

I had a lot of fun creating the cluster of embellishments underneath the photo. It gives the layout a lot of texture and dimension. But it does take forever to strategically lay everything out and make it look like all these embellishments just effortlessly fell there or something!

The next season's kits are in the works (the design team has gotten to see sneak peeks of the papers already), but in the meantime, you can still get your own Kisses and Snowflakes kit, so head on over to the store today!

Hello again! It's Laurie here with another layout to share with you using The International Scrapbook Garden Kisses and Snowflakes kit. And because I had five pictures that I wanted to scrap, I created this one using my Lea France Stained Glass Stencil in order to get all five photos on one page.

This uses some of the Bo Bunny Winter Playground papers in Nippy and Picturesque, plus a few of the Winter Playground cut apart tags in the embellishment clusters. I thought those wintry papers would be just perfect for this layout about a very cold day at Six Flags Holiday in the park last November.

My embellishment clusters are made up of a word from the Creative Embellishments Love Day set (which also serves as my title), Kaisercraft Lucky Dip Wooden Snowflakes (which are very fragile, so be careful when working with them!), some leftover May Arts White Metallic Nylon String Ribbon, and the Prima Sunrise Sunset Paper Flowers Silver Blue with the Darice Finishing Accents Snowflake Brads in the center.

The top cluster has some of the Prima Zella Teal ephemera pieces and word stickers in it. And then I accented each cluster with the Kaisercraft Pearls in Teal.

Using the great embellishments in this kit and my stencil really made this one pretty easy to complete, and I like how it all came out! You can still get your hands on this kit and all the bonus kits, so head on over to the shop and check them out.
