Prima Red Amber Wax

Hello New Year

Tracie ShumanComment

Hello all out here.
Today I have made a layout for my New years album.
I used the new kit Autumn Hayride.

It looks like this. The bottle and the glass are from my own stuff.

I painted the bottle and the glass with the red amber wax from Prima.

Here you see the glasses I painted just like the bottle.

Here I took some glue and sprinkled micro beads into the glue around the whole picture.

I decked the layout with flowers from Prima.
There are a lot of flowers in this wonderful paper kit!

This was the last from me this year.
I hope to see you in 2018,
and until then I will wish You a
Happy New Year!

Today I will show a layout with a photo from last fall.
I found one just perfect to use with the items from the Autumn Hayride kit.

Right now there's so much to do with Christmas, so it's nice to let go of it
and create something that does not belong to Christmas.

So here is my layout.

Here I used the Red Amber wax and colored the words and it gives such a shining result.

I sprayed the tree branches with Lindy's starburst envy green to be so shimmering and fine.
The leaves I first inked with Rusty keys from Ingrid Bolme.   Then I took a little of the
Red Amber wax and just stroked a little on the leaves to get a shiny look.

The leaves under the flowers were also sprayed with Lindy's envy green spray.
I like that the flowers and the photo match each other so well!

A close up photo of one of the many nice embellishments and sayings from Prima included in the main kit.

That's all for me this time.

Hope to see you next time!

"Thankful" Fall Wall Hanging

Prima, Scrapbook Kits, The Garden KitTracie ShumanComment

Hi, everyone! It's Laurie again with another project using The International Scrapbook Garden Autumn Hayride kits. When I was going through the kits, there were so many cool embellishments that I just couldn't bear to hide away in a scrapbook. I knew I wanted to create some type of fall decor with them. So I ended up making a small fall-themed wall hanging.

The only things on this that are NOT from Autumn Hayride are the two mini clothespins. I had it in my head that I wanted clothespins on this to hold up a small photo or ephemera embellishment, which is what I ended up doing, and believe it or not, Walmart had the exact mini clothespins I was looking for in its craft aisle!

I covered the Prima Shabby Chic Treasures Leaves with the Prima Art Alchemy Antique Brilliance Wax Red Amber, painted the Creative Embellishments chipboard leaf wreath in the Prima Art Alchemy Acrylic Paint Metallique Plum Preserves, cut out a circle from the Pion Design Summer Falls Into Autumn Tags paper that was a little bit wider than the chipboard wreath, layered the 49 and Market burlap over the paper, and then started layering everything else on top of that.

I've also got the May Arts Jumbo Leaves Ribbon on here, and one of the Prima Flowers Butterfly Kiss Melody butterflies (gorgeous!), as well as some of the Prima Amber Moon Say It In Crystals and Amber Moon ephemera.

I was going to pin a small fall photo in the middle of this, but then I decided that not everything I do has to have a photo, so I created a little banner with three pieces of the ephemera and backed it with the Prima Amber Moon Into the Woods paper.

I backed the whole thing with cardboard for extra stability and added a burlap string hook for hanging. Can't wait to add this to my fall decor next season!

Thanks for looking!
