Hello, everyone!  Laurie here on the blog today, and I'm so excited that the new The International Scrapbook Garden kits are here! My Kisses and Snowflakes Garden Kit just arrived a few days ago, and I have been going through everything, giving myself time to see what's there and figure out how I want to use all of the gorgeousness that Tracie curated.

In the meantime, I created another layout using the Autumn Hayride kit. And even though this is a fall-themed kit, this layout uses summer pictures! Yes, this kit is that versatile! And yes, I even have a process video to share with you. You can view it on my YouTube channel here.

I was able to use a lot of the Prima Amber Moon ephemera and enamel dots on this layout, and that large sequin butterfly is Prima, too. Just gorgeous! And I love how those flowers are colors that could be fall but could also be summer.

The papers I chose were the Pion Design paper with the sunflowers, and then there was a Kaisercraft paper with strips that had a strip of pears that I thought was very summery. So I was really impressed with the way this kit was able to translate through the seasons.

I have yet to use it to make a Christmas/winter layout, but some of the other talented design team members have already done it, so it is possible!

Don't forget to visit The International Scrapbook Garden shop to get your hands on this kit and the brand new kits, too! And stay tuned to the blog because we'll all be sharing projects with the new kits very soon.

Thanks for looking!

Happy new year, scrappy friends! Laurie here today to share with you a layout I made using my Autumn Hayride kit from The International Scrapbook Garden. Even though this kit is fall-themed, I actually used it to scrapbook a picture that was not fall at all!

This was a family photo of us at my daughter's baptism in the spring. I thought the flowers, papers, and embellishments were formal enough for this photo without being so "fall". And the Creative Embellishments chipboard reminded me of a family tree. That's what I love about The International Scrapbook Garden! Everything is so versatile!

I was really excited to use the Prima fabric letters on this layout, but because they were so bright white, I sprayed them with the Lindy's Starburst spray in Green with Envy Green. It worked great and the letters still had some really nice shimmer from the spray.

I also used the Kaisercraft die-cut that came in one of the bonus kits. The pattern of the die-cut worked well with the pattern of the background paper I chose. And the die-cut worked perfectly in my Spellbinders Grand Calibur! I'll definitely be using this die-cut again!

Another thing I like about the Autumn Hayride kit is that it comes with so many journaling tags! I had no shortage of places to write where I needed to write!

I didn't add anything from my stash to this layout. Everything you see is part of the Autumn Hayride main kit and bonus kits. So if you like what you see, head on over to the shop and pick up your own Autumn Hayride kit today!

A little birdie told me that the Jan/Feb kits are coming soon, and I can't wait. But in the meantime I am still having fun playing with this kit!

Until next time - Laurie

Hello New Year

Tracie ShumanComment

Hello all out here.
Today I have made a layout for my New years album.
I used the new kit Autumn Hayride.

It looks like this. The bottle and the glass are from my own stuff.

I painted the bottle and the glass with the red amber wax from Prima.

Here you see the glasses I painted just like the bottle.

Here I took some glue and sprinkled micro beads into the glue around the whole picture.

I decked the layout with flowers from Prima.
There are a lot of flowers in this wonderful paper kit!

This was the last from me this year.
I hope to see you in 2018,
and until then I will wish You a
Happy New Year!

Hugs from Sweden
