The International Scrapbook Garden

Hello again! It's Laurie here with another layout to share with you using The International Scrapbook Garden Kisses and Snowflakes kit. And because I had five pictures that I wanted to scrap, I created this one using my Lea France Stained Glass Stencil in order to get all five photos on one page.

This uses some of the Bo Bunny Winter Playground papers in Nippy and Picturesque, plus a few of the Winter Playground cut apart tags in the embellishment clusters. I thought those wintry papers would be just perfect for this layout about a very cold day at Six Flags Holiday in the park last November.

My embellishment clusters are made up of a word from the Creative Embellishments Love Day set (which also serves as my title), Kaisercraft Lucky Dip Wooden Snowflakes (which are very fragile, so be careful when working with them!), some leftover May Arts White Metallic Nylon String Ribbon, and the Prima Sunrise Sunset Paper Flowers Silver Blue with the Darice Finishing Accents Snowflake Brads in the center.

The top cluster has some of the Prima Zella Teal ephemera pieces and word stickers in it. And then I accented each cluster with the Kaisercraft Pearls in Teal.

Using the great embellishments in this kit and my stencil really made this one pretty easy to complete, and I like how it all came out! You can still get your hands on this kit and all the bonus kits, so head on over to the shop and check them out.

Hello !

Today I am sharing another layout with January kit Kisses and Snowflakes.

I started off with Clear Gesso on the surface.  Used the stencil with the Nuvo Mousse on top right corner to left down corner.  Then I stamped different pieces with Blossom Bud Chalk.  I added splashes of Shimmerz Spray, once everything was dry,  I started layering the tags and pieces of papers, Chipboards and all the embellishments.

Backyard Adventures

Hi all! I'm back with another layout using the Winter Adventures kit from International Scrapbook Garden. I've already professed my undying love for the Maja Denim and Friends papers featured in this kit in my last two projects (Pure Delight & Always Wonder), so for this layout I wanted to do something a little simpler and let the papers shine.

{I even managed to get the bit of the polka dot "Paisley" navy blue paper I proclaimed to be my favorite paper of all time!}

I used my Cricut Explore to cut out the airplane, cloud, and banner.

I was trying to figure out what I was going to use as my "smoke" from the plane and tried some twine but when I spied the wood flourishes from the kit. {and I got out of gluing string into a curlicue!}

The chip phrases are from Tim Holtz (included in the embellishment bonus kit).

The "You're Awesome" phrase is from the border on one of the B-sides (the back of the information strip at the bottom). I love that you get this fun little "freebie" to add another layer of embellishing.

The story behind that little sun peeking out from behind the cloud is that I had that little piece leftover from cutting out the banner and it wedged itself into that spot {not at all surprising with the mess on the kitchen counter where I've been scrapping lately}. I figured it wanted to live there and who am I to say no to my little paper friends? {commit me now}
