"Thankful" Fall Wall Hanging

Hi, everyone! It's Laurie again with another project using The International Scrapbook Garden Autumn Hayride kits. When I was going through the kits, there were so many cool embellishments that I just couldn't bear to hide away in a scrapbook. I knew I wanted to create some type of fall decor with them. So I ended up making a small fall-themed wall hanging.

The only things on this that are NOT from Autumn Hayride are the two mini clothespins. I had it in my head that I wanted clothespins on this to hold up a small photo or ephemera embellishment, which is what I ended up doing, and believe it or not, Walmart had the exact mini clothespins I was looking for in its craft aisle!

I covered the Prima Shabby Chic Treasures Leaves with the Prima Art Alchemy Antique Brilliance Wax Red Amber, painted the Creative Embellishments chipboard leaf wreath in the Prima Art Alchemy Acrylic Paint Metallique Plum Preserves, cut out a circle from the Pion Design Summer Falls Into Autumn Tags paper that was a little bit wider than the chipboard wreath, layered the 49 and Market burlap over the paper, and then started layering everything else on top of that.

I've also got the May Arts Jumbo Leaves Ribbon on here, and one of the Prima Flowers Butterfly Kiss Melody butterflies (gorgeous!), as well as some of the Prima Amber Moon Say It In Crystals and Amber Moon ephemera.

I was going to pin a small fall photo in the middle of this, but then I decided that not everything I do has to have a photo, so I created a little banner with three pieces of the ephemera and backed it with the Prima Amber Moon Into the Woods paper.

I backed the whole thing with cardboard for extra stability and added a burlap string hook for hanging. Can't wait to add this to my fall decor next season!

Thanks for looking!

Hi there, Marianne here with you.
I can imagine that you all have a lot to do now that Christmas is coming soon. We have Christmas on December 24 here in Sweden, so it is not a long time before Santa is coming.
But I have a little time left to work with this beautiful paper kit that you can find here
There are so many nice papers, flowers, embellishments and a lot
of other stuff that are so amazing in this kit!

This time I made a card with the beautiful Pion Design paper and the nice flowers from Prima and 49 & Market.

Here is my card.

The beautiful flowers are from Prima and 49 & Market. I love the color!

Here you can see the nice leaves from Prima and the chipboard
leaves from Bo Bunny which came in the kit.

There are many nice sayings like this you can choose between.
I like to use sayings like this on my cards.

Here is a close up of the pretty Pion Design paper.

I used the nice Prima Red Amber wax for the apple.
It gets a nice shiny look!

That's all for me this time.
Now it´s time for me to decorate the house for Christmas.
I still have  some things left to do.
Take care

Happy fall, y'all!

Laurie, here! Even though the Christmas decorations are up at my house, I am still in the fall mood because I've been playing with my The International Scrapbook Garden fall Garden kit called Autumn Hayride. This kit is so awesome! Check out the unboxing videos for the main kit and the bonus kits to see all the goodies that come inside!

I had just the photo to scrap with the luscious fall papers and embellishments of this kit. Here is what I made using just the supplies in the main kit.

And I even made a process video for you guys so you could get a better idea of how I used the Prima Rust Effect Paste and Prima Micro Beads Pollen on my Creative Embellishments chipboard and Kaisercraft Fallen Leaves background patterned paper.

I didn't get the full coverage I wanted on the chipboard with the beads, but I still think it turned out okay. And it was a fun way to dress up the plain chipboard.

I created some dimension with the 49 and Market burlap by folding it and hot gluing it in place behind my photo. I also created a cluster of the glittery leaves and fussy cut out a circle embellishment from the Pion Designs Tags paper to go behind the burlap.

I did another cluster of the leaves with one of the Prima Amber Moon ephemera pieces in the bottom righthand corner, and I wanted to bring the rust paste and beads down there, too, so I just swiped some of the paste down there with a paintbrush and covered it with the beads. You can't tell from the picture but they really do look super shiny on the paper.

And then I did another cluster of Prima Amber Moon word stickers on the other side of my picture. You can also see that I backed my picture with some of the leftover paper and inked the paper with the Ingvild Bolme Rusty Keys Chalk Ink.

There are so many fun tools to play with in this kit! Head on over to the shop to get your hands on your own Autumn Hayride kit today!!
