Hello,  Marianne here. Today I will show you a box card I made
with leftover paper from The Picnic in the Garden kit.

The paper is soo lovely in this kit and it is soo easy to find paper to match each other.
I found this tutorial here and I hope you will try it yourself.

This is how it looks like when it´s closed.

Almost open

Here it is open and you can see it´s like a box when you pull it out.
You can pull it out a little more than I have done, it´s just because I have to hold the camera.

I have put some tags inside the boxcard.

This is all for me today. I hope you will have a wonderful time.

Hope to see you again soon!
Hugs from a rainy Sweden.

Hi ISBG Fans!  Summer is gone, but fortunately the Summer Fairy Garden Kit is still available at the International Scrapbook Garden.  I still love the pinks, greens and pale blues of this kit!  So I decided to make some festive Christmas tags.  You can never start too soon, right?!?

The two left tags are my two Christmas tags, and don't you love the summery watermelon?  See how the colors can be seasonless? The papers, tiny roses, ribbon and stamp are all from the kit.  Along with that luscious watermelon and the paint for the chipboard.

First let me show you the angel tag:

And a little close up:

Next up is St. Nicholas, Father Christmas or Santa Claus.  Did you know that December 6th is St. Nicholas Day?  In many countries it is traditional to leave your shoes out and St. Nicholas fills them with candy or other treats!

I thought Santa could use a little shabby, retro, steam punk look!  All on that luscious green paper and with the lovely white ribbon bow.  What an amazing kit!

So if you were undecided on the Summer Fairy Garden:  Picnic in the Garden kit.  Go for it!  If you have a little time and a few holiday embellishments you can create lots of beautiful cards and tags with a green and pink theme that will add a feminine touch to your holiday giving!

Hi everyone. Marianne here with you today.

I will show you what I did with the small pieces I have left from
the Picnic in the garden kit.  I made a Pocket Letter.

It´s a new way to send letters to your friends.

Basically, you fill all the pockets of a 9 pocket trading card protector and
send the whole page to someone who wants to swap with you.

This can be a one-time exchange or you can keep exchanging Pocket Letters indefinitely.
You fill the  pockets with anything you like (stickers, tea bags, a note, washi tape samples, pictures, etc.) A short note or letter is included and tucked into one of the pockets.
Then the Pocket Letter is folded up and sent in a standard 10 size envelope.
It's the perfect way to send and collect letters from other Pocket Letter Pals around the world.

I took some embellishments from the kit and painted them with 13 arts acrylic paint orchid pink.
Then I took some 3D foams and put them on the outside with hello in the middle.

Here are some close up pictures.

In this pocket I put a private letter to my friend.

Here is the backside where you can put your things right in the pocket
or do as I did and make a small envelope.

Here I have put in some frames that I made from molds.

Thats all for me today.
