Hey everyone, today I'm sharing my last layout I created using the April Toolshed kit: Colorburst from The International Scrapbook Garden. This kit is filled with papers from 7 Dots and 49 &Market. I have had an amazing time designing with these kits, but due circumstances I must step down from the team. So today I leave you with a very special layout.
Here is my layout:

This is such a special layout. It is one of the last photos my dad and brother took together before dad died a few months later. Even though dad was so thin, you can still see how much they look alike.
I used items from the main kit, the mediums kit, the bonus paper kit and the embellishment kit. I pulled in a few things from my stash to add as well.
Here are some close up:

I used lots of the chipboard on this layout. I took the pebble panel and cut it into pieces. I layered it around the layout. Because I had used the other black pieces of chipboard I wanted to keep these pieces black as well. So I gave all the naked chipboard a coat of black gesso, then I went over it with black distress ink.
Here is more of that great chipboard. I love the clock and gear corner piece. It was a bonus that they were black. Yes, I snuck in a flower.

Here you can see that great clock/gear corner piece. I didn't have to do much to the background as the paper was already distressed.

Here are the kits I used for this layout:

It has been a pleasure designing for International Scrapbook Garden. I will miss these masculine kits. They have truly pushed me beyond my comfort level. Thanks so much Tracie for the opportunity.
That's all I have for today, thanks for stopping by.
